A Change is Gonna Come

Sorry about taking so long to write another entry, but I´ve been extremely busy with:
A) Writing up tests and exams for most of my classes and correcting them
B) Trying to win the battle of an extremely bad case of pollen allergies (no joke)
C) Stressing over my impending move towards the south and contacting my future roommates by cell and email...(oooh Lucy don´t hate me for being stuck in a train and bus throughout most of the journey)
D) Hating and cursing my current roommate for being such a slob and BEEP!
E)Going out with friends and enjoying the gorgeous hot weather that we already have for the month of May (30 degrees and sunny for all weekend yayyy)
So yeah, I´ve been keeping myself busy...so many things will be changing soon. I can´t wait to move at the end of June, but I am a bit nervous about the whole thing since I will have so much to move...including my Lucy Knoo.
I´m excited about moving towards the south, so close to beaches and everything...but apparently I will die from heat stroke, lol...oh well, I´m sure it can´t be THAT bad. I mean, Madrid had 36 degree temperatures throughout most of July and August...
Work is BUSY. I thought June would be a nice and slow month, but we are getting some more intensive classes, which means extra work and more preparation. Oh well, last long stretch before my holidays! I guess I shouldn´t complain too much...heck, what´s better? A boring 9-5 job in an office or teaching TEFL in sunny Spain where I can always travel? Staying here for at least another year is a good idea, in my opinion...
I don´t have the internet at home anymore, grrrr...My roommate says that it´s because the company is repairing something, but I don´t believe him. In fact, I´ve lost all of my trust in him. I could go on about several things here, but I won´t bore you to tears. Let´s just say that I think he just hasn´t continued paying the internet bills and they must have cut us off or something. Ugh...so here I am, using the internet at work before my next teenager class (they are writing their final exam today...muahahahah the POWER, POWER I feel! ;) ) So yeah, whatever. One more month avoiding Mr. Liar and Dirtbag. Have I already said that I can´t wait to move?
I have already found another apartment in Huelva, and this time I shall be living with 2 girls, one who is actually already a German student of mine! So that will be cool, she´s a really nice girl and we get along well. Hopefully my 3rd move in Spain will be the charm.
I would post pictures, but since I can´t connect my webcam here you´ll all have to bear with me until I have internet at home again...yikes, and that might take a WHILE...maybe only when I´ll be living in the south. Until then, you´ll at least get written updates from yours truly.
Man, oh man...I´ve got TERRIBLE allergies..the pollen is seriously like snow here...apparently it´s one of the worst years for pollen...ugh! I never used to have allergies, and now!
I can´t wait to go visit the academy in Huelva on the 9th of June. I shall need to buy my train tickets tomorrow...oh God, and then I´ll see just how long the journey will be (I´ll have so many suitcases to carry with me, I don´´t even want to think of the trek up ahead).
Tonight is movie night again. The Da Vinci Code was alright last weekend, but I was a tad disappointed. Meh, I prefered Memoirs of a Geisha to this. Actually, my fave movie so far is Walk the Line for 2006. I´ve also watched a lot of great Spanish movies, 2 Francos y 14 Pesetas, and Vida y Color, etc. There´s another one out soon called Viva Cuba, I´ll see what that one´s about.
This weekend I´m just going to correct some tests and go for a super long walk with my friend Theresa...it´ll be so gorgeous out, how can I stay inside?
Well, I guess that´s all for now, love you all and miss you xoxoxoxo Heidi
